Seriously, if I had a beard like that, I’d never leave the house.

This week on a haunted episode of Gutter Trash, we review Below, starring Zach Galifianakis and written by Darren Aronofsky. That’s a lot of letters. We also talk about tattoos (again), discount club cards, Bon Jovi, caffeine, and Jason’s special Gay Day. We try word association movie reviews, admire hobos and graffiti, and plan a Maverick’s Heist.

Sticky and wet, just the way you like it.

This week on Gutter Trash, we review H.P. Lovecraft’s From Beyond starring Jeffrey Combs, directed by Stuart Gordon. We also talk Orson Welles and Casey Kasem outtakes, unread books, childhood horrors, hatred of zoos, the awesome of Tool, the awfulness of Motley Crue, and finally – I make contact.

It’s the show that’s not good for anyone’s mom.

While I honestly think this is our strongest show yet, it’s our weakest sound-wise. Sorry. But to make up for it, Jason and I invite our friend Joe Grunenwald – King of all Flash Knowledge – to be a guest on the show and help us review the Korean mash-up film, Save the Green Planet. We talk about comedy pointing, airline food, the Legion of Super-Pets, repetition, comedy pointing, airline food and the Legion of Super-Pets.

Happy New Year to all of our listeners, I hope it’s been great for you, and thanks for supporting us in ‘09. We’ll see you on the flipside of 2010 – The Year We Make Contact.

Why was Grace Jones ever famous?

We review the 1986 Grace Jones horror comedy, Vamp on this week’s episode of Gutter Trash, and I wish I would have vetoed it. It may be a bad movie, but it’s far from a bad show as Jason and I get political and argue over the issues of the day, such as carpet, albinos and furries. We also talk eBay and Ohio based serial killers, and reveal just how much it would take to whore ourselves out. And finally, the worst song we’ve ever played on the show. Seriously how was she ever famous?

And… Take Two.

This is absolutely the best experience we’ve ever had recording an episode. We reviewed Mike Mignola’s quirky Jenny Finn, we’re drunk off our asses, and good goddamn, we brought the fuckin’ funny.

Until I deleted the first half of the episode.

We re-recorded it, it’s not as good, but you never can top perfection. The last half of the show is from the original recording session, so if the show is disjointed or we refer to things with no context, now you know why.
