Sorry the veggie burgers didn’t work out.
I actually read this book & was just kinda “whatever” on it. Strangely I think that’s my reaction to every comic I’ve read about World War II except Maus & The Invaders, but I keep going back for more. Maybe I need to write a fan fiction for you about Matt Murdock going back in time & trying to get drafted to fight in WWII even though he’s blind, but they don’t let him join the army because “duh, he’s blind” so he decides the next best thing he can do is console the wives of soldiers & it ends up he’s the biological father of all the original X-Men. Now there’s a DD crossover event.
Has there been any increase in traffic with the Veggie Dog Saturn promos going around?
This was a very funny episode.
But I have to say, Jason’s GWAR exception should be the ONLY exception to wearing the shirt of the band your going to see. In the words of the great Jeremy Piven from the timeless classic “PCU,” “Don’t be ‘that guy,’ man. Don’t be ‘that guy.'”
OK, truth be told I didn’t listen to the whole thing. When you guys review something I haven’t seen or read, I listen to half of the review, decide if the something interests me, and if it does I don’t listen to the rest of the podcast until I’ve consumed the something. But seriously, what I heard was very funny.
And Brian – I would pay wicked good money for that comic.
What if it doesn’t interest you?
I think you should keep doing this podcast FOREVER. It helps me get through my workday.
